The REA Gala

Finalists in Gifts & Decorative Accessories 2003 Retailer Excellence Awards (REA) competition were honored at a gala dinner and awards presentation at The Plaza hotel in August, during the run of the New York International Gift Fair. More than 250 manufacturers, sales reps, trade show producers, retailers, and others in the gift and home accessories industry showed their support for the Gold and Silver REA winners who represented the country's finest specialty retailers. Angelica Berrie accepted the 2003 Industry Achievement Award in honor of her husband, Russ Berrie.
George Little Management sponsored the dinner. Co-sponsors were the Dallas Market Center, DMG World Media, Whereoware, Western Exhibitors, 225 Fifth Avenue, 230 Fifth Avenue, and 41 Madison Avenue.
