Enesco Reports Improved 3Q

Itasca, IL — Enesco Group Inc. reported revenue of $71.8 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2003, a 4 percent increase over the same period in 2002. Gross profit of $31.1 million was 9 percent higher than the third quarter of 2002. Net income of $4.6 million also improved 4 percent over the previous year. The revenue growth was attributed to $2.0 million in revenues from the Bilston & Battersea acquisition in the U.K., as well a $1.9 million impact of favorable foreign currency exchange rates.
