Gift for Life Auction in Dallas

Dallas — A new format has been created for the 2004 Gift for Life silent auction of products from the annual ARTS Awards finalists. The goods will go on display in the Dallas Market Center's Trade Mart Atrium on Friday, January 16, at 2 p.m. Viewing is free, and everyone is invited to place bids on their favorite pieces. Bidding will end at 8 p.m.; cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served beginning at 6 p.m. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Gift for Life, the gift and home industries' volunteer organization raising funds for the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR). The silent auction is sponsored by Gifts & Decorative Accessories and Home Accents Today. The 15th ARTS Awards gala, presented by the Dallas Market Center and the Accessories Resource Team (ART) takes place Saturday, January 17, in the International Apparel Mart.
