My Favorite Co. Licenses RUSS

Oakland, NJ — Russ Berrie & Co. (RUSS) announced plans to debut new products under license from My Favorite Company (MFC). RUSS will market MFC's social expression line of Yak Pack characters, including Sid Bear, John Pig, Purrscilla Cat, Baahbara Lamb, Scooter Puppy, Max Monkey, and Mr. Shark. The characters have already been used in a range of products, from talking plush and giftware to candy and balloons sold in department stores and specialty gift and candy stores. MFC will provide RUSS with six new programs — including seasonal programs — each year for the next three years. MFC, a Los Angeles-based partnership between Mark Eisenberg and Neil Wright, has been in business for 15 years, developing programs for licensees and retailers.
