USA Completes Its First Conference

New Orleans — The United Sales Association held its first educational conference here, November 21–22, 2003. More than 220 rep agency principals, manufacturers, and vendors took part in the two-day event themed "Jazz It Up." The roster of speakers included Jim Pratt ("Build a World Class Sales Team"), David Kiersnowski ("What Manufacturers Expect From Reps"), Jim Dempster ("Credit and Collections"), and others. The 2004 officers were elected at the annual meeting held during the conference. They are: Andy Bjork (president), Kim Higgins (vice president), Peter Lisciotto (treasurer), and Kelly Dierke (secretary). Eight members were also elected to the 2004 board of directors. The 2004 United Sales Association conference will be held November 19–20, in Amelia Island, Florida. Kim Higgins is the 2004 conference chairperson.
