McDermott Retires From Kellen Co.

Washington, DC — Association executive Marianne McDermott retired from full-time association management, after heading the Greeting Card Association and the National Candle Association for 20 and 17 years, respectively. She also retired from her position as vice president of The Kellen Company, the association management company she founded in 1987 as Resources for Group Management. She sold it to Kellen in 2001. "The Kellen Company and numerous trade associations have benefited enormously from Marianne's expertise and professionalism, and we will miss her," said Kellen Co. president Peter Rush.
