Blyth Inc. Sells Gift Bag Business

Greenwich, CT — Home decor and home fragrance company Blyth Inc., Greenwich, CT, sold its Jeanmarie Creations gift bag business to Jeanmarie management. "Jeanmarie Creations was purchased by Blyth in 1995, and marked the first step in the diversification of our product offerings within the broader home expressions category," said Blyth chief executive Robert B. Goergen. "Blyth has approximately doubled in size since acquiring Jeanmarie. In light of that growth, we have recognized the need to focus on our larger seasonal and home decor businesses."
