June 18, 2004 — The Gift Sales Manager Association (GSMA), Atlanta,
elected its officers for the 2004/05 term. They are: President, Stuart Miller
(v.p. of sales, Goodwin Weavers); Vice President, Andrea Bourque (nat’l. sales
manager, gift market, Harvest House Publishers); Secretary, Lynn Perez (v.p. of
sales, Colours); Treasurer, Tim Cushman, (v.p. of sales and marketing, Green
Rhino); and Sergeant-at-Arms, Tara Moynihan (nat’l. sales manager, Mary Meyer).
Organized in spring of 2003, GSMA grew from 24 founding members to more than 40
current members. Membership is open to sales managers of non-competing companies
of various sizes. “The chance to meet with non-competing companies has proven to
be quite attractive to sales managers across the country,” said president Stuart
Miller. The GSMA fall meeting is set for November 17–18, 2004, in Amelia Island,
FL.
