Vivian Alexander Honored by JA

New York-Vivian Alexander, Louisiana egg artist and jeweler, received a Golden Apple Award during the Jewelers of America (JA) International Jewelry show, held July 30-August 2 at the Javits Center in New York. Golden Apples are presented in four categories: Allure, Innovation, Sparkle, and Fusion. Nancy Trent, president of the publicity agency Trent and Company, along with JA show director Drew Lawsky, presented Vivian Tullos and Alexander Caldwell, designers and principals of Vivian Alexander, with the crystal trophy for the Allure category. The award was given to Vivian Alexander particularly for a special event held with collector and author Christopher Forbes, who autographed copies of his book Faberge: The Forbes Collection, which features the Forbes Magazine Collection of objets and Imperial Easter Eggs by Faberge; a collection which now numbers nearly 500 pieces. Vivian Alexander is an official licensee of The Forbes Collection, creating limited edition art objects and minaudieres.
