2000 Herend Artist Tour Set

Sterling, VA -Martin's Herend Imports has scheduled its annual artist appearance tour. Artist Tamas Vecsey will appear in specialty retail stores in ten cities between October 30 and November 20 to demonstrate porcelain handpainting techniques and sign purchases. Vecsey has been with Herend for 14 years. He attended the Herend vocational school beginning at age 17. This will mark the second time that Vecsey has toured the United States on behalf of Herend, producer of hand-painted porcelain tableware and gifts since 1826. Martin's has been the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor of Herend since 1958. The tour includes: October 30, Shreve, Crump, and Low, Boston; November 2, Rumson China and Glass, Rumson, NJ; November 4, Bittner's II, Louisville, KY; November 6, Neiman Marcus, Chicago; November 9, Gump's, San Francisco; November 11, The Menagerie, Austin, TX; November 13, Nielsen's Exclusive Gifts at the Plaza, Tulsa, OK; November 16, Neiman Marcus, Atlanta; November 18, Scully and Scully, New York; and November 20, Squire Chase, McLean, VA.
