The hottest commodity at Enesco, suite 100 at 225 Fifth Avenue, is Harry Potter. There is a variety of product including figurines, bookends, and a host of kaleidoscope-like story scopes in the form of characters from the book. There is also a line of collector stones that come in a boxed set of three. The catch is that the child has to find the limited-edition gold stone within one of the stones. Enesco is also expanding its Home Gallery line to include a bevy of frames in a variety of styles. There is also a new line for children called Congo Kids that features chairs, pillows, mirrors, and a size chart.
There is a new line of children's bathroom accessories featured in the US Acrylic showroom, suite 302 at 225 Fifth Avenue. Toothbrush holders, cups, and other items are available. They come in two colors: purple and blue. Also new in the showroom is Cool Flavors, a line of CD cases that hold up to 12 CDs and come in five colors: raspberry ice, grape soda, green apple, blueberry popsicle, and orange sorbet.
Future Gadgets is a new line of plastic desk and tabletop accessories featured in the Zeolla Inc. showroom at 225 Fifth Avenue. The line includes CD holders, floppy disk holders, and cell phone holders, all in the shape of a lounging man. There are also plastic notebooks and clipboards. Visit the showroom in suite 321.
Lawrence Essentials is a new showroom in suite 417 at 225 Fifth Avenue. The company celebrated its opening with a soiree during the August gift market. The suite, which has a very clean, minimal look, features a series of vases, plates, and other tabletop and decorative accessories made from resin and metal. The pieces have an Asian influence and come in soft, cool colors such as pale slate blue, orange, and neutral browns, among others.
Welcome to the jungle! Tele-Fun, suite 619 at 225 Fifth Avenue has answered the call of the wild with a line of animal print trays called Jungle Fever. There is also a line called the Turban collection, which features Indian vegetable-dyed laminated fabric. Another highlight is the collection of pens that feature a silk flower at the tip with notepads to match. The company is expanding the flower line to include pins.
There is a bevy of product to see at Gallery 726, suite 726 at 225 Fifth Avenue. New to the showroom is the work of Sandy Wallin, a designer of art glass. The pieces-depicting animals and fish-are all brightly colored. Also new in Gallery 726 is Spencer & Spencer, a collection of hand-painted ceramic and earthenware tabletop items. The pieces feature landscape scenes reminiscent of Italy and mountain areas, and are dishwasher- and microwave-safe. AVotréSantéis also now represented by Gallery 726. The company creates colorful crystal tabletop accessories. One of the highlights is Blooming Flutes, a set of crystal champagne flutes with colored stems held in a vase/holder. Schuler & Pauly is also new to the showroom. The line is made up of rock crystal tabletop and decorative accessory items, including salt and pepper shakers, paperweights, ash trays, and votive holders that double as napkin rings. The pieces all feature solid silver accents. CotéBastide has expanded its home product line to include a new collection of personal care items. The line features lotions, bath gels, potpourri, candles, scrubs, and bath linens among other items.
Patrice Cohen and Company has added three new companies to its New York showroom. Freedom Design features silk-screened glass tabletop items with images of flowers, fish, and leaves. Muti, a collection of assorted ceramic tabletop items, is another new line represented. Also new to the showroom is Draco Industries, a manufacturer of needlepoint rugs and pillows. While you're there, check out the latest additions to existing lines. There is a new collection of indoor line lights from Via Motif, new candle floater gift sets from Molca, and the latest stainless steel serveware from Dextelle International. Swedish Accents is a new tenant in suite 939 at 225 Fifth Avenue, and they are keeping the showroom looking fresh as a daisy. There are three new patterns in the fabric flower collection: a giraffe, a tiger, and a snake print. There is also a new line of hand-painted frames featuring animal prints, a French country look, and solid colors.
When you visit Yvette Fry Inc., suite 1015, at 225 Fifth Avenue, you'd think you took a step back in time to the 1960s! The latest collection on display is Suzie Baker's cosmetic bags made of chiffon encased in plastic. The bags feature patterns inspired by Emma Peel and Pucci. There are also tissue holders made of Ultrasuede, vinyl, and sari fabric, all trimmed in gold.
Marc Blackwell has a new line of lanterns and lamps at his showroom, suite 1123 at 225 Fifth Avenue. The lanterns are made from Shantung silk and raffia and come in a number of colors. The lamps are mango wood. Also, there is a new group on display called Signature. The line features tabletop items that can be monogrammed and are great gifts for brides.
