Staff -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 10/1/2004
Enesco Group Inc., Itasca, IL, named Cynthia Passmore-McLaughlin president. Passmore-McLaughlin hails from cosmetics company Revlon, where she most recently served as senior vice president of customer marketing and retail design. Her previous assignments at Revlon included stints in Canada and the U.K. She began her career at Procter & Gamble's beauty division, and later worked with the Bristol-Myers Squib Clairol brand. To begin, George Ditomassi will continue as Enesco's interim chief executive, focusing on managing the company's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, leaving Passmore-McLaughlin to address business strategies. The short-term dual roles will provide Passmore-McLaughlin with a more effective transition to the chief executive position.
