Las Vegas Market Expands

Las Vegas — World Market Center officials announced that the first Las Vegas Market, July 25–29, 2005, will be 40 percent larger than originally envisioned. The market will encompass 2.3 million square feet, up from the planned 1.6 million. Some 630,000 square feet of temporary exhibit space has been contracted at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Phase one of the permanent facility will be completed by the July market, and an additional 345,000 square feet of temporary space will be set up adjacent to the new building. The market expects to host 700 exhibitors.
