Gund Launches Gund Kids Line

Edison, NJ — Plush toy manufacturer Gund will introduce a line of products called Gund Kids in time for the winter gift shows. "Building on the success of our widely recognizable Gund and BabyGund brands, Gund Kids will help both retailers and consumers differentiate between decorative, collectible plush and characters that appeal most to the finicky 4–11-year-old market," said Gund president Jim Madonna. Gund Kids products will include cheerleader, sports, ballet, and dance bears; backpacks; puppets; and other items. Gund Kids is the company's first new brand since the introduction of BabyGund in 1991.
