What They Sold in '04

Specialty retailers across the country reported their fastest-moving merchandise.

By Staff -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 1/1/2005

Over the past year, we interviewed 60 retailers for our monthly "What's Retailing" column. Respondents were chosen at random; some are subscribers to Gifts & Decorative Accessories, others aren't. Some answered by offering their Top 5 product categories, while others named their favorite brands, with candles and accessories leading the pack (as it did in 2003). Following is a compilation of the 300 products our respondents named in 2004. The list is arranged in descending order of the number of responses for each product category.
