Seminars
Two full days of programs are scheduled on Monday and Tuesday, February 21–22. There are eight different tracks offering more than 40 individual programs:
- Track 1: Licensing & Legal offers eight topics.
- Track 2: Manufacturing presents four seminars.
- Track 3: Online Experience includes four presentations.
- Track 4: Marketing & Promotion offers eight programs.
- Track 5: Safety Update has four discussions.
- Track 6: Business Development presents four opportunities.
- Track 7: Business Innovation offers eight presentations.
- Track 8: Retail includes four learning programs.
Programs of particular interest to the specialty retailer are:
- Tilting at Windmills — Maintaining an Edge with Limited Resources. Monday, February 21. 1–2:15 p.m.
- It's In the Visuals. Monday, February 21. 2:30–3:45 p.m.
- Price: It Doesn't Always Have to be Lower. Tuesday, February 22. 1–2:15 p.m.
All seminars will take place at the Javits Center, Hall 1E on the Lower Level. Registered Toy Fair attendees can take part in their choice of programs for a $249 registration fee. For full seminar details and to register, visit www.toy-tia.org.
LOOK FOR: The new "Reading, Writing & Rhythm" exhibit area featuring books and audio product designed for young people. Includes musical instruments, recordings. "Sweet Spot" is another new exhibit area which presents a wide selection of candy related products. Shuttle buses run between Javits Center and the showroom district during the day, and to and from midtown hotels in the morning and late afternoon.
