C.R. Gibson Acquires Artworks

Nashville, TN-Thomas Nelson Inc. signed an agreement to acquire certain assets of Artworks, a journal, address book, and stationery producer based in Boca Raton, FL, with offices in Nashville. Artworks will become a wholly owned subsidiary of C.R. Gibson, the gift division of Thomas Nelson. Arthur Mills, who founded Artworks four years ago, will continue as president of the company, which will be operated as a stand-alone entity with sales coordinated through Artworks' network of independent representatives. Shipping operations will move from Holyoke, MA, to Nashville, TN, after the acquisition is completed.
