DMC Super Market Adds Collectibles Focus

The Dallas Market Center (DMC) will debut a new collectibles event during its January Super Market. The event is sponsored by the Collectibles & Giftmakers Guild (formerly the Collectibles & Platemakers Guild) and the National Association of Limited Edition Dealers (NALED), as well as the DMC. The DMC's educational program will offer a panel discussion on the State of the Collectibles Industry: Opportunities and Challenges, Friday, January 12 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Joan Pursley, editorial director, Collector Communications, will moderate the seminar. Following the seminar, all Guild and NALED members are invited to a cocktail reception at Trader's Restaurant, on the first floor of the World Trade Center (WTC). George Little Management will debut a new collectibles category, Collector's Square, within the Special Sections of the Super Market. Open January 13-16, the area will occupy about 2,100 square feet on the 15th floor of the WTC. Exhibitors will include Bearington Collection, Carousel Legends, the Collectibles and Giftmakers Guild, Columbus Gift, Esteves Creations, Gallo Pewter, Gift Creations, Howard Miller, NALED, San Francisco Music Box Company, and Sarah's Attic. A special display will accompany the focus area.
