CGTA Announces Canadian Retailer of the Year Awards

The Canadian Gift and Tableware Association (CGTA) announced that The New England Gift and Basket Company of Pointe Claire, Quebec, was named the 2000 Canadian Retailer of the Year. The other honorees are: Chintz & Co., Victoria, British Columbia; Living Rooms, St. John's, Newfoundland; The Heavenly Outhouse, Cochrane, Alberta; Lady of the Lake Trading Co., Brandon, Manitoba; and Greenland Garden Center, Sherwood Park, Alberta. The awards will be presented at a gala on Sunday, January 28, during the CGTA Gift Show in Toronto. The CGTA was established in 1976 for the benefit of manufacturers, suppliers, importers, and exporters of gift, tableware, and related products. The association represents 1,500 manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors across Canada.
