Ideation Purchases Parade of Gifts

Ann Arbor, MI, and Minneapolis—In a joint statement, Ideation and Coyne’s & Company announced that Ideation will purchase Coyne’s Parade of Gifts division. Coyne’s will continue to be a participating vendor in the Ideation programs, and will assist current customers with the transition. Ideation and Coyne’s will work together to provide products and programs to retailers. “The synergies for the companies are right, the timing is right, and the benefits to all of our stores is certain,” said Coyne’s president Michael Coyne. Tom Ungrodt, president of Ideation, added, “Ideation is committed to growing its business as well as the business of its retail partners. The acquisition of Parade of Gifts and our new alliance is a big step in this direction.”
