Bluestem, OK — On March 12, candles from Giant Candle Co., Canoga Park, CA, will be featured in two back-to-back, hour-long episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The Makeover team built a new house for the widow and five children of Pastor John White, who died of a heart attack on his 19th wedding anniversary. Since then, the family had been living in two trailers purchased with funds raised by the community, but they couldn’t get the trailers to their new land. In addition, the trailers lacked heat and working kitchen, as well as locks, carpet, and in one case, power. Giant Candle Co.’s candles will be featured in the dining room, as well as placed on three iron stands inside the White family’s new home.
