Card designer and manufacturer Meri Meri, Belmont, CA, took home a record 13 Louies from the 17th annual International Greeting Cards awards ceremony in New York in May.

Toland Enterprises, Mandeville, LA, signed artist Jane Davies to design a collection of outdoor flags and floor mats.

Blue Mountain Arts, Boulder CO, hired Dick Duff as executive vice president of sales. Duff's more than 30 years in sales and marketing includes stints with Coyne's & Co., Carousel by Guy, and Midwest.

Precious Moments Inc., Elgin, IL, opened a new 22,000-square-foot distribution center in Carthage, MO, on the grounds of the Precious Moments Chapel, warehouse, and business and administrative offices.

Stationery resource Socially Yours, Bakersfield, CA, named Lori Harrison national marketing and sales manager.

Upper Canada Soap & Candle Makers, Toronto, signed Unique Concepts to cover Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania, and Lineworks to cover upstate New York.
