Dallas Market Center Readies for New Temps
By Staff -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 8/1/2005
The September edition of the Dallas International Gift & Home Accessories Show, the George Little Management-organized temporary exhibition, will be the last. Beginning with the January 2006 Super Market, the temporary section, with the new name F!NDS, will be produced by the Dallas Market Center (DMC) under the management of Georgia Davis, a DMC executive vice president. Along with a new name, the temp section will be spiffed up with modern graphics, carpeted aisles, and redesigned booths. New show categories will include HomeF!NDS, GiftF!INDS, PaperF!INDS, and others. Finds will occupy the 12th and 13th floors of the World Trade Center, as well as parts of Market Hall. “Finds continues Dallas Market Center's nearly 50-year legacy of presenting innovative new merchandise in a quality environment,” said Davis.
