Eenesco “relationship”

To the editor,

Congratulations to Gifts &Decorative Accessories for acknowledging the “relationship” story at Enesco. I still have Enesco stock I received when I left the company. I looked at its history the other day on my statement, and in 1996 it was above $30 a share. After [Jeff] Hutsell came on, it began to plunge, and Cynthia [Passmore] has really sent it in a pit! Now it's not worth selling — the fees would be more than its value! In any other company, she'd have been out the door before that so-called meeting. I'm proud that G&DA was unafraid to print the article.

Boxed philosophy

To the editor,

Wow! We were so pleased with “Think Inside the Box,” in the January issue of Gifts & Decorative Accessories. Thank you for so eloquently communicating our design philosophy. It is clear that you really took the time to research and understand our company. Our attention to detail is evident to the reader because of your attention to detail. We appreciate it.
