“Plastic” FantasticTo the editor,
I was very impressed with the article, “Paper or Plastic,” in the May issue of Gifts & Decorative Accessories. It's one of the best I've read as a general guide for small retailers; it passed along a lot of valuable information, and will be a useful tool for guiding retailers to a gift card solution.
I've received numerous inquiries as a result of the article. This really isn't my market niche, but hopefully it will help your readers find their way to offering gift cards to their customers.

Though we've closed our business due to the many reasons given in the June issue of G&DA (In Their Own Words, p.58), I have a suggestion for a future issue.
Stores keep complaining of high credit card processing rates and waiting four days for money to get to their account. If you have a Bank of America account and use Bank of America's processor company, all MasterCard/Visa payments will be in your bank account the very next day.
Just an FYI. Hope it's helpful. I have no affiliation to BOA, I just want to help others with the headaches that are part of a business I truly cherish.
