Welcome to the first installment of "Decades of Excellence," a celebration of Gifts & Decorative Accessories and the magazine's 90 years of history as a business partner to the industry.

We've delved into our bountiful archives and pulled out a diverse array of features and factoids we hope will give our readers a rich sense of each one of the magazine's nine decades.

This monthly series will continue through September and we welcome our readers to join in at any point along the way with contributions about their own history, about G&DA's history or about the gift industry's history in general.
