EcoStyle Pavilion Expands

By Staff -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 7/5/2007 1:51:00 PM

High Point, NC — After the success of last spring’s eco-friendly home furnishings pavilion, Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. and the Sustainable Furniture Council are planning for an expanded show at the Fall High Point Market, October 1–7.

The EcoStyle Pavilion will offer “green” exhibitors’ direct mail pieces to over 60,000 buyers, as well as trade advertising, a special section in market directories, telemarketing and email marketing outreach. In addition, a party in the Century Courtyard at Market Square, Thursday, October 5, will celebrate the importance of “going green” in the home furnishings industry.

“The reaction we have had since [the spring market] has been overwhelming, and we are looking forward to expanding our efforts at the Fall High Point Market,” said Gerry Cooklin, president of the Sustainable Furniture Council.
