Roost Recalls Birch Wrapped Candles

Roost, recalled its Birch Bark Wrapped Candles. About 1,200 units were sold at specialty retailers in September and October. The candles, which were made in China, can ignite the bark wrappings when they burn down, creating a fire hazard. The company received three reports of ignited wrappings, with no injuries or property damage.
Roost is offering a product pickup and full refund to consumers. The company’s recall hotline can be called collect at (415) 339-9500, extension 212.
