A “Cross Indulgence” Display

Antique casegoods make great retail fixtures; bookcases, in particular, create terrific display opportunities. But remember that you have to exercise special care when displaying with bookcases that are not lit. This bookcase display was created with the theme of “Bedroom as Sanctuary.” The bookcase is located near a bed decked out in black- and camel-colored bedding. To decorate, I chose a few items that are all very common in a bedroom setting: crosses, books, candles and linens. Just looking at it made customers feel “right at home.”
