Memphis, TN — The Memphis warehouse of home decor vendor Creative Co-Op was seriously damaged last week during the wave of severe tornadoes that ravaged much of Tennessee, Arkansas and other parts of the Mid-South. The warehouse suffered a direct hit from a tornado with significant loss of inventory. No one was injured.
The company says it is taking swift action to resume business as soon as possible. Within the next several days, phone service will be restored, and the company will begin contacting customers and sales reps regarding the status of their orders. Home decor orders will resume partial shipping within weeks and will resume at full capacity within 75 to 90 days. Christmas orders will not be affected.
According to the release, “Creative Co-Op assures you that we remain dedicated to servicing our customers and being the most trusted source within the home decor industry. Although our facilities have been damaged, we still retain the heart and soul of our business: our people, our product and most importantly our customers. We are looking forward to the task ahead and are most definitely up for the challenge.”
