Dallas

Dorothy Weaver -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 3/1/2001

Berkley Designs relocated within the Dallas Trade Mart (DTM) to space 1800, just off the Courtyard. Noted for musical creations, Dreamsicles water fountains with selected styles that are musical, plush, and a bounty of decorative accessories, it's a source of seasonal gifts for one and all.

The Dallas-based Kennedy Group represents the complete Santa Barbara Ceramic Design line in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. The line, shown at space 320 World Trade Center (WTC), includes a broad coordinated assortment of address plaques, clocks, garden accessories, wall decor, and kitchen/gourmet accessories.

In celebration of its 60th anniversary, The Lefton Co., 1400 DTM, established in 1941, introduced "Legacy White," a limited-edition, one-year production of white porcelain with a Bavarian slant. Handmade white floral motifs are presented on a collection of vases, covered boxes, candleholders, and other beautiful decorative pieces that retail from $10 to $50. Ron Alessandrini, vice president of product development and marketing, while visiting the showroom proudly pointed out the anniversary commemorative.

Global mixes at Sterling Industries, 525 WTC, offer options for an eclectic look. Old World, Country French, and Asian influences in hand-painted, classical, and traditional furnishings cater to discriminating tastes.

A melange of gifts adorns Lanyap's enlarged 310 WTC showroom. Jamie Lynn Bridal Accessories make a beautiful accompaniment to Lohengrin's Wedding March. Stupell Industries' home accessories, fireplace screens, clocks, and window prints are timely additions. Three Cheers frames, keyrings, magnets, and licensed plush add a touch of artistry. African Express; Source Book; Quality Art Products; Dee Jay's Candles; Sun Star, and Annabel Bearden Bath and Beauty are among other featured lines.

The Cliff Price Co., 1860 DTM, now totals 5,500 sq. ft., with the addition of square footage in the 1800 aisle. A new line, GKI Bethlehem Lighting, presents lighted trees, paint box Christmas lights, and other sparkling elements that rekindle childhood wonder and create a merry holiday mood. It joins such prestigious lines as Possible Dreams; Mostly Memories; Pavilian Gifts; Hearts and Flowers; and Riverdale.

Discover what's new, what's now, and what's next at the Goetz Inc., 2101-11 DTM. The showroom expanded again and now has an entry on the 2300 aisle, where the Carnevale line is fully displayed.
