Jerry W. Levin, chairman of San Francisco-based retail chain Sharper Image Corp., resigned effective immediately as both member and chairman. But that doesn’t mean he’s done with the troubled retailer, which recently declared bankruptcy; quite the contrary. Levin told Sharper Image that he is interested in participating with other investors to acquire some or all of the company's businesses or assets. Bishop to the position of vice president. This is Bishop’s second tour of duty with the firm, which he first joined in 2003.
