Tervis Tumbler Helps in Cancer Fight

North Venice, FL — Tervis Tumbler Co., insulated drinkware vendor, hosted a specialty car and truck show this month to help an employee’s daughter battle cancer.
The event, held at the company’s factory store in Osprey, raised $6,500 to assist Sydney Fieber, pictured at right, daughter of Tervis employee Dane Fieber.
During her one-year-old physical check-up, Sydney was diagnosed with Bilateral Wilm’s Tumors (cancerous tumors on both left and right kidneys).
Almost a year later, Fieber's wife has had to stop working and is going to school to learn how to care for Sydney. “We hope our efforts will give the family some breathing room so they can focus solely on Sydney’s treatment and recovery” said Laura Spencer, Tervis CEO.
