The Dallas Market Center  promoted Jane R. Robertson to the position of executive vice president of marketing. As an EVP, Robertson will join the Dallas Market Center Executive Committee, while continuing to oversee the marketing department, which includes communications, special events, retail development and international development functions.

“Over the past five years, Jane has been instrumental in many of the most important company initiatives including the successful launch of FashionCenterDallas, marketing initiatives including the new “You Can’t Miss Red” brand campaign, and the development and introduction of our custom publications,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center.

Having worked in different capacities at Max Factor & Company, Sanger Harris, Foley’s Department Stores and the Dallas Galleria, Robertson came to Dallas Market Center in 2003 with a great deal of retail and marketing experience on her resume. She currently, volunteers her time with the Family Place on the Partner’s Card Retail Advisory Board, and has served on the boards of several prominent national and local charitable organizations .

Julia D. Azar, a Memphis, TN-based stationery and invitation company, hired John Caraco as its new national sales director. His responsibilities include managing and growing the company’s network of sales representatives, retailer relationships, as well as overseeing other marketing and communications initiatives. The company has also added two new designers who are collaborating with Julia on a new line that will appeal to different segments of the market to be launched in May. Caraco is based in New York and comes to Julia Azar from the European paper company Rössler Papier.
