Urban Expositions to Launch Fort Lauderdale Show

Atlanta – Urban Expositions will launch the Fort Lauderdale Gift Show August 8–11, 2009. The show will be held at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, a 600,000-square-foot, three level meeting and conference facility. There are plans for more than 500 booths to feature products in a variety of categories, including general gift, stationery, resort, jewelry, fashion accessories, decorative accessories, tabletop, gourmet and more.
The show was created in response to a growing demand for a regional gift show in the south Florida region, including the Caribbean. “There is an absolute need for a South Florida gift show and the new Fort Lauderdale location finally brings everything together for retailers from South Florida and the Caribbean,” said Doug Miller, president, Urban Expositions. “The Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center is a state-of-the-art facility that is easily accessible for fly or drive-in buyers,” he went on to say.
