Los Angeles — The 2009 Winter San Francisco International Gift Fair will debut a new layout highlighting four Bay Area neighborhoods. “With a re-designed show in February 2009, we are poised for a new era in the life of the SFGIF. The SFGIF continues its pattern of being a show where buyers can find new and unique product that will help them differentiate themselves from their competitors. What better way to do that than to take a cue from our host city with a focus on San Francisco’s classic neighborhoods,” said Aubin Wilson, show manager.
The new sections of the show include: Union Square, which will feature general gifts; North of the Bridge will focus on gourmet, tabletop, lifestyle and food and wine wares; Marina will highlight home décor, fashion accessories, personal care, children’s products and design goods; South of Market (SOMA) will include museum sources, as well as handcrafted goods and Treasure Island will house one-of-a-kind and cash and carry.
The San Francisco International Gift Show will be held February 7–10, 2009, at San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center.
