Dining by Design in L.A.

Los Angeles — Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) Dining by Design tour is headed to Los Angeles. The three-day event will be held at the L.A. Mart Design Center, September 13–15. The event will feature dining installations by some of the industry’s top designers, including Marc Blackwell for Beringer Vineyards, David Stark for Benjamin Moore, Vivienne Tam for HP and Bravo’s Top Design’s Preston Lee for the L.A. Mart table. Barclay Butera is chair of the event, as well as a designer of one of the tables.
Several events have been scheduled, including Cocktails by Design on Saturday, September 13; tickets are $125; Table Hop & Taste on Sunday September 14: this party is open to the public, with a $45 contribution to benefit DIFFA; and DIFFA’s Dining by Design Gala Dinner on Monday, September 15, tickets are $500, reservations required.
