Jill Robinson
Dallas Market Center hired Jill Robinson as vice president of retail development. Robinson will oversee all specialty and major store buyer recruitment and retention programs for hardgoods and softgoods and will report to Jane R. Robertson, executive vice president, marketing. Robinson comes to Dallas Market Center after more than 20 years with retailers Bag ‘n’ Baggage and JCPenney. At Bag ‘n’ Baggage she served as senior buyer for luggage, men’s accessories and women’s accessories. At JCPenney, Robinson served as vice president, divisional merchandising manager of women’s and children’s shoes, senior buyer for contemporary footwear and senior buyer for junior footwear.
Joseph Woulfe has been named director of sales for Tarrytown, NY-based Christopher Radko, a division of Rauch Industries. Woulfe will report to Heather Shepardson, CEO of Rauch Industries. Woulfe will manage the sales teams and marketing programs for all categories within the Christopher Radko portfolio. Prior to joining Radko, Woulfe lead the Northeast sales divisions of Lenox Group/Dept. 56.
Tabletop vendor Lifetime Brands, Garden City, NY, elected Jack Koegel to the company's board of directors. Koegel is an advisor to Prentice Capital Management LP, a New York-based private equity firm that owns a significant stake in several retail companies.
Simon Pearce Inc., Windsor, VT, appointed James Zilian as director of design and product development. Zilian previously served as senior designer, and will now also handle product development, buying of non-manufactured goods and visual merchandising. He will report to Rob Adams, president.
Demdaco, Leawood, KS, added new licensed artist Marjolein Bastin. At 150 items, her Nature’s Journey will be the company’s largest launch to date. The new SKUs will be divided into florals, a damask collection, garden accessories, holiday serveware and everyday home accents. Detailed information will be available November 10th.
