Internet giftware wholesaler FarCountries.com, New York, named Ardura Holdings of London to coordinate its operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Peter Hughes, principal of Ardura, will serve as regional manager. Hughes has worked as marketing director for Laughton Group, managing director for Stratton of London Inc., and group sales director for W. Moorcroft PLC.
Sales Producers Inc. of Los Angeles promoted four staff members to new positions. Patrick Council was named director of sales and business development. He will oversee all facets of the sales department. Paige Hendrix was appointed director of operations. She will oversee all people and functions within the sales producers' operations system, and will lead the company into the world of new technology. Janis Leishman was promoted to sales manager. She will be working in the field assisting the outside sales team. Elisa Castaneda was promoted to the newly created position of special accounts manager. She will concentrate on forging stronger relationships with alternative and niche accounts.
Great Bay Lace Co. appointed Parker Sales to represent the company in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. The sales agency is based at the World Trade Center in Dallas.
HerDoo's, a Denver-based manufacturer of accessories, named two new sales representatives. The Wolf Company, Greensboro, GA, will handle sales in the state of Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky. The Wolf Company showroom is located in the AmericasMart 2, suite 1736. Kirsch Sales and Associates will represent HerDoo's in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. The Kirsch showroom is in the Denver Merchandise Mart, room 2156.
House of Hatten Inc., Georgetown, TX, manufacturer and wholesaler of seasonal merchandise and accessories, appointed Reid & Johnson Associates to be its sales representative for Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. The agency's showroom is located in the Columbus Gift Mart, suites 351 and 352.
Candle Corp. of America named four regional sales directors. Joe Lorenc will cover the eastern region. Beth Ann Falcon will oversee the Southwest. Julie Ranger will cover the West. Thom Petrouski will be responsible for the central United States.
