Calling All Harry Potters!

Staff -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 5/1/2001

The Collectors' Festival 2001, June 14–17 at the Navy Pier in Chicago, will feature a Harry Potter Lookalike Contest. Collectors who come to the festival on Saturday, June 16, will be eligible to win government savings bonds. There will be two contest categories — one for children aged 12 and under, and one for those aged 13 and older. The winner in each category will receive a $1,000 savings bond. First runners-up receive $500 savings bonds, and second runners-up receive $250 savings bonds. Judging will take place at noon, in a clearly defined area of the show's main exhibition hall at the Navy Pier. Other show events include the Collectors' Festival Celebration buffet dinner, a Meet the Artists cocktail party, a fund-raising program featuring Olympic-style promotional pins, and Artist/Celebrity signings.
