Cast Art Awarded Pooh License

Burbank, CA — Walt Disney Art Classics, the art and collectibles division of Disney Consumer Products, signed an agreement with Cast Art Industries LLC to develop and distribute the Pooh and Friends collectible gift line, which features porcelain bisque figurines, ornaments, and resin accessories inspired by the character Winnie the Pooh. "The brand has become a cornerstone of the gift industry. It is a privilege for Cast Art Industries to be selected as the U.S. licensee," said Ken LeFevre, president and CEO of Cast Art. The Walt Disney Art Classics team will continue to work with Cast Art on product creation. The granting of the Pooh and Friends license follows Cast Art's recent acquisition of Papel, making it one of the largest collectible and giftware companies in North America.
