Top Drawer Spring Debuts 2002

Trade show producer Clarion Events will launch Top Drawer Spring, January 20–22, 2002, at London's National Hall, to fill a gap in the calendar between the Top Drawer Summer and Top Drawer Autumn shows. According to Clarion, Top Drawer Spring will be positioned as the first major design-led gift and home accessory event of the year, conceived in response to a survey conducted at Top Drawer Autumn 2000 that indicated 60 percent of buyers would visit a January show. The inaugural Top Drawer Spring will feature some 200 companies, including Mulhouse Design, Fusion, Vincents, Terence Moore, and B&N London. Jacquie Gray, 1999 winner of the Best Shop Window award at London Fashion Week, was appointed to build and design feature areas to help attract buyers to the new show.
