The Awards 2001 Finalists

Gifts & Decorative Accessories presents the finalists in the 50th annual Merchandising Achievement Awards competition. These 12 top finishers are honored for retailing excellence in Store Design, Promotion, and Visual Merchandising.

The 2001 Awards are given for merchandising achievement in 2000. The selection of the finalists and Gold and Silver Award winners was made by Gifts & Dec editors Quinn Halford, Caroline Kennedy, Eliza Gallo, Matthew Kalash, Sarah Mandel, Bessie Nestoras, and Meredith Schwartz, and George Little Management exhibit design project manager Matthew Goodman.

Full coverage of the finalists in Store Design begins on page 42. Promotion finalists will be featured in the August issue of Gifts & Decorative Accessories, and Visual Merchandising finalists will be covered in the September issue. All finalists will be honored at a gala reception and dinner at New York's Plaza hotel on Sunday, August 19.
