Jeremiah’s Fan Club

“Cute cat,” one reader, Lauren Schiller of Elephant Pharmacy, remarked in an email to me. I certainly am not impartial, but I have to agree.
And my friend Deb wrote, “As a cat lover, I also adored your Dancer in the Aisles blog on being away from home. Jeremiah as a kitten could be a cover boy for Avanti cards, and grown up Jeremiah is the dapperist dude in New Jersey!”
There’s something about pictures of babies and pets that people really respond to. In my case, I showed both – only the baby was of the feline kind! When I get home from work, he greets me at the door; when I am tired and cranky, he makes me smile and laugh with his antics; and when I am away, I miss him. Of course, even when I am away, he is always with me. Being a cat, and a long-haired one at that, I always take a little bit of him along with me. There’s something about cat hair that doesn’t always brush off no matter how hard you try!
