I’m Ba-a-a-a-ck …
August 22, 2007

… from the hectic summer schedule of traveling to and reporting from the summer gift shows, returning to the office to unbury the build-up of mail (both e and snail) and catch up on regular tasks, as well as working on a few special projects. Whew! It’s been exhausting, but I’m sure that I don’t need me to tell you all that, since many of you are faced with similar grueling schedules. Nevertheless, all that business left little extra time, words and energy for much else.

The one thing that I made sure that I made the time and had the energy for, the one personal constant, that I kept up with (between travels), is my ballroom dance lessons. I had to, partly to maintain my health and sanity, but mainly because this weekend I am off to a dance competition in Alexandria, VA. This is the first time in over a year that I have competed and I am looking forward to it. I’ll report back on how I do and maybe even post a picture or two. I like to win as much as the next person, but how I place isn’t as important as how well I feel I do. I am going to have a good time and dancing primarily to enjoy myself.

Oh... please... post a picture or two Caroline! I didn't know you did this. You're our industry's very own Dancing with the Stars "Star!" How exciting. I think the competition is over, how'd you do??
