Congratulations, Joe Santoro!

A great big "Congratulations" shout out to Joe Santoro, one of Gifts & Decorative Accessories‘ Gifted Retailers. This past Friday night, Joe participated in a local version of "Dancing with the Stars." The event was a scholarship fund-raiser and Joe competed against three other local "celebrities." Just like the popular TV program, each celebrity trained for about six weeks with a professional dance instructor, learning a routine that they would perform live in front of an audience. Joe’s dance? The Cha Cha Cha. 

Knowing of my interest in dancing, Joe had shared the news of what he would be doing, back in January. And when I saw him at the Las Vegas Market, we did a few steps together. Yesterday Joe reported to me, "I won the entire event of Dancing with the Stars — the popular vote and the dance!" 

As a retailer, this is one way that Joe creatively builds loyalty to his business. He reaches out and supports many community efforts, personally and through his business Santoro & Company. The community returns the favor.
