Gifting the Earth

Most, if not all of us, try to give back in some way, whether it is through supporting a local organization, doing volunteer work or donating to a major charity fund. But these days, finding the financial wherewithal to make donations is not so easy, especially when you are a small business (vendor or retailer). That has not deterred one small business in our great big industry, which is making a statement for a cause it really believes in and is putting its product where its beliefs are.
 
Calypso Studios believes in saving the planet one shopping bag at a time. So in honor of Earth Day, it will give away $10,000 worth of its S.H.O.P. (Start Helping Our Planet) Totes reusable shopping bags. From now until April 22, individuals can register for a drawing to win one of the company’s Acts of Kindness S.H.O.P. Totes. Click here to register. All winners will receive their shopper totes after April 22. They can then gift the earth by using it every time they go shopping instead of taking a plastic bag from the store.
