What Will They Think of Next?

Ya gotta love this industry! Our ever-inventive product designers come up with so much stuff that is wonderful, as well as wild, wacky — and sometimes in questionable taste … but still amusing.

Years ago, there was (and still is) Earl the Dead Cat, about which I blogged a while back, and Jingle Jugs, as well.

Then a little while ago, our production manager sent me an email with pictures of pillows (gotten from the Internet?) attached that he suggested (tongue in cheek, mind you) we feature perhaps on an On Trend page. These are in the vein of our dearly "departed" Earl:

And just this morning, I ran across a news item about Norman the PhartEphant, which was included in a celebrity birthday swag bag as a gag. Norman is a 10-inch plush toy that makes eight different gas-passing sounds when squeezed. (Reminds me of my ex-husband.)
He’s kinda cute and you just wanta give him a squeeze … but watch out! Who needs a whoopee cushion when you have Norman around?

Ya just gotta love these designers with a sense of humor, warped though it may be.
