There are any number of events going on during the Nuremberg Toy Fair. As you would imagine, many are private events but some are open to everyone. Here are three that you must attend:

Precious Knowledge: 2nd Global Toy Conference

Last year the Spielwarenmesse launched the Global Toy Conference as a means of providing practical knowledge on how attendees can respond to the many challenges that confront all of us in the toy industry today.
The response to attendees was enthusiastic. One attendee said: "Super coaching, I'll be there again next time," and another agreed with a request: "Excellent! The summit must become a permanent part of the program during the International Toy Fair. Encore!"
This year we are again offering the 2nd Global Toy Conference with a compact one day program. Fair visitors can put together their individual conference schedule from presentations on three topics:
- Toy safety
- Online-marketing for retailers
- Toys go green

Fireworks display on the exhibition site
Saturday, February 5 at 6:05 p.m.
The sparks really fly - with a spectacular fireworks show on the exhibition site immediately after the fair closes. The best places for watching the fireworks are the exhibition centre park and in front of the entrance to CCN Mitte. To make sure it's not too cold on this February evening, there will naturally be something to drink to warm you up. The firework is the start for a splendid evening in the city centre with the motto "Enjoy Toy Fair City". Have a tour through the Nuremberg bars joining the Toy Cocktail Competition 2011. The best cocktail is awarded the Toy Cocktail 2011.
