Show and tell... It is business as usual for almost half the respondents to this week's poll asking about market attendance plans this summer: 45.1 percent plan to attend the same number of markets as they usually do. However, more than a third, 35.29 percent, are planning to cut back to fewer shows than usual, perhaps because reps and Internet buying reduce the need, or perhaps to save on travel costs impacted by the rising price of fuel. Only about 10 percent are planning to up their show count, and another 9.8 percent say they only attend markets in the winter. Travel to www.giftsanddec.com to vote in this week's poll.
